2024 Paradise golf Classic, Hammock bay golf club
While passion for excellent service and guest satisfaction is something JW Marriott Marco Island is known for, one of JW Marriott's core values is to serve our world. Serving others and creating a positive impact is the heart of who we are and the reason the Resort prioritizes giving back to the community we love knowing it will better the lives of our team members and families that call Marco Island and Naples home.
For more than a decade, JW Marriott Marco Island has hosted the Paradise Charities Golf Tournament and, during that time, has raised more than $1.3M for local organizations.
This annual event helps so many in a variety of ways. The tournament provides monetary support to all schools on the Island, including Tommie Barfield Elementary, Marco Island Charter Middle School, and the Marco Island Academy, to help ensure a bright future for all students. It also supports our first responders through the Marco Island Police and Fire-Rescue Foundations. It provides funding to advocate for preservation and coastal protection through the Friends of Rookery Bay. The Marco Island Historical Society, local animal shelters, Habitat for Humanity and the YMCA are just a few of the Paradise Charities Golf Classic's beneficiaries.
This season's Paradise Charities Golf Classic will be held on our Hammock Bay golf course Friday, December 6, 2024. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the tournament starting at 12:30 p.m. A reception on the Hammock Bay Event Terrace will kick off at 5:00 p.m. following the golf event.
